First developed over 10 years ago by a foreigner who had vision for this property, Turtle Cove on Lake Arenal is a private community of 45 lots, most of which have views of Lake Arenal and/or the Arenal volcano. The lots are small and a manageable size so you can enjoy the area, not get stuck with yard work. The homes have continuity making your investment more sound (Turtle Cove Covenants). Whether it’s a beautiful sunrise or sunset or just a lovely view of the wind farm, lake, or volcano, you will feel the beauty and peacefulness as soon as you first approach. There is no highway noise as we are located 1 km from the main road to both Arenal (approximately 10 minutes by car) and Tilarán (approximately 25 minutes). There is a quaint family village named Aguacate just 5 minutes away – it boasts a well-stocked convenience grocery, an excellent restaurant (El Corral) and one of the most charming churches you’ll see in Costa Rica.

Our community is accessed by a public road and offers a lovely infinity pool and easy access to the lake where you’ll find a paved boat ramp and privately owned dock and marina. There is fencing around the property and a gate and guard house at the entrance with night guard and daytime security gate. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the roads are paved in the community.

No problem if you buy a lot but aren’t ready to build quite yet – there is no time limit for building and you can choose your own builder. Homeowner’s dues are reasonable at $625/year for a vacant lot and $2000/year for a home.
