From Liberia International Airport
(approximately 1 ½ – 2 hours):
Take Highway 21 east toward Liberia – take Pan American Highway (1) South at Liberia to Cañas – take Highway 142 east toward Tilarán – from Tilarán go another 25-30 minutes past Rio Piedras and on to the Turtle Cove sign and arches to your right- take the road to Turtle Cove approximately 1 km to the Turtle Cove gate.
From San Jose International Airport
(approximately 3 – 4 hours):
Scenic Route – Head West on the Pan American Highway (1) – turn north at the San 
Ramon exit. Take 142 North all the way – a winding, two-lane highway that is well-marked and easy most of the way. Go through La Fortuna, past the road to the Arenal Volcano, and on through the small town of Nuevo Arenal (a good place to stop for groceries and supplies). Go another 6 or 7 km through the village of Aguacate (with a yellow church on your right) and look to your left after a big bend for an arch and sign that says Turtle Cove. Turn left into access to Turtle Cove and go approximately 1 km to the Turtle Cove gate.
Highway Route – Head West on Pan American Hwy for approximately 7km. Take the 
Radial el Coyol South to Hwy 27. Proceed on Hwy 27 toward Puntarenas (turns into Hwy 23) stay on 23 until you merge on to Highway 1 to Cañas. In Cañas, take Highway 142 east toward Tilarán. From Tilarán go another 30 minutes past Rio Piedras and on to the Turtle Cove sign and arches to your right – take the stone road for approximately 1 km to the Turtle Cove gate.
